About Gabriel

gabe4Gabriel (a.k.a. Gabe) Davis was born and raised in Charlotte, N.C. He is the youngest of 3 children and was raised by a single mother. His mother, Acquinetta Davis, is a huge part of Gabe’s many talents – His inspiration came from her teachings that were strictly from the Word of God. Despite that his father was not there to sow seeds in his life, Gabe’s praying mother was able to raise him up to be not just a talented individual, but the man of God he has grown to be.

Gabe loves God first and foremost. He lives to not only truly love God, but to love people also. With a love so strong for God, he shows his love through his singing, dancing, writing and even cooking.

Gabe finds inspiration through all types of music. He takes all that he gathers and uses it to make his music for Christ. His singing, writing, arranging and overall ear for music has become a product of his many different environments.

His dancing began at the age of 9. Over the years, Gabe has increased in skill and heightened the level of worship associate with his dancing. Dancing has, more than anything, become a great way for Gabe to release his gratitude and appreciation for the God that he serves.

In recent years, Gabe has dove deeper into writing. Whether it be songs, poetry or overall stories – Gabe’s writing is a reflection of who he is. Gabe makes it his duty to be as transparent in his writing as possible, allowing God to have total control over the pen.

Gabe is also a cook! His college student focused cooking show “Gourmet with Gabe” takes us into the kitchen with the chef himself. Gabe was taught to cook by his mother. He specializes in Southern dishes, but if you give him a recipe, he will ALWAYS put his own twist on it! The show is now in its fifth season and continues to entertain and make your mouth water for his good eats.

There is so much to Gabe than what meets the eye. Anyone that knows Gabe knows how much he loves God, life and people. His message is simple: “Give praise to God through the gifts he’s given you, in your own way.”
